Granny’s Kitty Cocktail Fruit Tonic combines the nostalgic taste of childhood with Granny’s love for her furry friends.
It all started with a sleek black cat with piercing green eyes named Obsidian. Obsidian was Granny’s bestie and long-time confidant for 10+ amazing years. Granny rescued Obsidian in November 2013 as a kitten along with his sister Moonstone. Granny and Obsidian weathered moves across the country and a few breakups together (including needing to be separated from his sister Moon). While Obsidian was wary of strangers, he looooved Granny and would greet her with a happy pounce.
When Granny set out to work on her beverage flavor recipes she knew she wanted to rethink the cherry/lemon/lime of a Shirley Temple/Kiddie Cocktail of her childhood. Using tart cherry and a high quality live resin, Granny’s Kitty Cocktail was born (without all the red 40). In Granny’s Kitty Cocktail, only natural dyes and fruit juice are used along with cane sugar for a flavor blast that feels good and TASTES GOOD.
Just as Granny’s Kitty Cocktail was born, Granny’s bestie Obsidian took a turn for the worse and crossed the rainbow bridge on February 12th 2024 due to kidney complications. Granny was rightfully devastated to lose her best friend but she pledged to help more rescue animals in his honor.
In Obsidian’s memory, 10% of sales of the Kitty Cocktail Fruit Tonic will go to support local animal rescue 🐈⬛
